Switzerland is still a long way from achieving this - and what's more, the situation has worsened in recent years, with Swiss healthcare facilities increasingly recruiting abroad. It cannot be said that certain things are not moving. The adoption of the care initiative and the discussion about the abolition of the numerus clausus for admission to medical studies show that positive changes could be possible. But is this enough to secure healthcare in Switzerland?
