4EU+ "Wastewater-based epidemiology (WBE) is a macro-epidemiological approach that assesses population exposure to infectious agents and chemical contaminants through wastewater analysis. This approach has considerable potential for facing future infectious epidemics.
The conference will highlight the state of scientific knowledge and explore how to integrate this approach into national and international monitoring plans (Science to policy), using examples of ongoing projects from different countries worldwide.
