Friends of the Global Fight "The need to strengthen health systems and ensure they work for people in all their diversity has never been more pressing. (...) To obtain insights into how the HIV response might be serving as a pathway to stronger health systems in the context of COVID-19, we conducted 34 key informant interviews in six countries (Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Thailand, Vietnam) in February and March 2021. As the case studies that accompany this report reveal, these countries represent a range of experiences with both HIV and COVID-19, varying levels of national income, and important differences in health systems."
