WATCH the Swiss Side Event at Women Deliver 2019
Medicus Mundi Switzerland / Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation Watch the engaging discussion on how to reach the most vulnerable and marginalized young people at our Youtube channel.
This panel aimed to unfold the complexity of the topic ‘reaching the most vulnerable and marginalised young people’ in the area of health by including multiple perspectives from research to policy and practice. The concepts of vulnerability, marginalisation, ‘hard-to-reach’ and ‘left-behind’ are often talked about, but what is actually being done to close the ‘gap’ and ensuring young people’s right to health?
Our side event aimed to highlight best practices and challenges through interactive discussions with young people, researchers, policy makers, and project implementers.
The Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) organised this panel in collaboration with Medicus Mundi Switzerland (MMS), the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute (Swiss TPH) and the University of Glasgow (UoG). The panel was co-sponsored by the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF), the Partnership for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (PMNCH) Special Programme of Research, Development and Research Training in Human Reproduction (HRP), Batonga Foundation, and The PACT.
