With the Ursimone Wietlisbach Foundation, a new player is being established in Switzerland, which intends, among other things, to strengthen traditional medicine approaches in international health cooperation, particularly in the MEKONG region and in the following areas:

  • Capacity building and training in complementary, natural and traditional medicine knowledge
  • Strengthening the evidence base of complementary, natural and traditional medicine practices and supporting evidence for policy efforts

The MMS Round Table offers the opportunity to discuss the potential, but also the limitations of the inclusion of traditional medicine and to get to know the Urssimone Wietlisbach Foundation.

With inputs from:
- René Stäheli, President Medicus Mundi Switzerland,
- Stefan Germann, CEO Ursimone Wietlisbach Foundation.
