Enfants du Monde "Enfants du Monde and its local partner the Nepalese NGO Green Tara Nepal launched a new project in Nepal, to improve the health of women and new-borns living in the slums of industrial areas of the Lumbini province. The project intervenes both at the community level, improving the knowledge of urban women to seek skilled maternal and new-born health care, and at the health facility level, strengthening the capacities of health facility staff to provide respectful care. With strong support from the National Health Training Centre, this second component has been particularly appreciated by the master trainers team, while Respectful Maternal and New-born health care has been targeted as a fundamental issue in the agenda of the Nepalese Ministry of Health."
